About the Role A well-established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations within a lean manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory control, logistics coordination, and team performance, ensuring materials flow efficiently from goods receipt through to production and customer delivery. You will play a key leadership role in maintaining safety, quality, and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement across warehouse processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations Supervise receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch, and freight activities Coordinate closely with the Production team to ensure smooth material flow Manage stock levels, cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, transport providers, and delivery schedules Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles Monitor productivity, quality, cost control, and operational performance Maintain staff training records, skills matrices, and cross-training programs Conduct coaching, performance management, and development of warehouse staff Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, and quality standards Participate in production and management meetings and contribute to business improvements Benefits Full-time role, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week) Competitive salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Stable position within a growing manufacturing business Opportunity to lead a team and influence operational improvements Supportive leadership environment with continuous improvement focus Long-term career development potential Skills and Experience Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain supervision Experience leading and developing teams within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse systems Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills Experience managing transport and freight operations Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Proactive approach to safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement Ability to perform under pressure with strong attention to detail Licences & Qualifications Essential: Current unrestricted driver's licence (including HR Truck) Forklift licence Desirable: White Card First Aid & CPR certification Fire Warden training About the Company A well-established Australian manufacturing business specialising in aluminium windows, doors, and balustrades.
